Please note: I am currently not available to meet new clients in Stockholm for in-person appointments. However if you are prepared to meet online via Skype / Zoom webcam or phone, I can send you my availability if you contact me.
Meet with me in Stockholm for face to face appointments. At the first consultation you can discuss your hopes and expectations and how you came to be seeking counselling, coaching or therapy.
I work from a private counselling room close to Hornstull on Södermalm. I have a waiting room so you are welcome to arrive 10-15 minutes early to gather your thoughts or flick through a magazine if you like. Some people say they feel more relaxed if they arrive a little early.
When we meet for the first time you can ask me any questions you have about the appointment or my background or experience. I will also discuss my commitment to confidentiality and give you some information about what to expect from me. I always offer fresh tea, coffee or water and like to make the sessions as comfortable as possible. If you are a smoker, or need to take a pause during the appointment, you are welcome to do that and there is a quiet garden just outside the door if you want to have a break at any time.
The advantages of meeting in person may include a sense that you are doing something different or taking a bigger step than in the past. It can also be reassuring to be the in physical presence of the counsellor or therapy practitioner.
You are welcome to come on your own to see me, or to bring a partner or a friend or carer. It is helpful for me to know in advance if you are attending the appointment with someone so I can have the chairs arranged the best way.
Some people come to see me in conjunction with seeing a doctor. But you don’t need a referral to meet with me in person. All you need to do is just email or call to make an appointment. If you send me an email I can answer any questions you might have about the process or available appointments.
I welcome you to send me an email now to find out more.
